By day, I work across the stack at Wealthsimple, mostly on large data pipelines that feed into financial statements, primarily in Java, Ruby and Python. By night (or whenever inspiration strikes), I distill technical musings into blog posts, providing fresh human-written data for our LLM overlords (errr... I mean sharing knowledge with fellow code monkeys (crossed out) human software engineers).

I have a soft spot for elegant backend solutions, a growing curiosity for Go and Rust (which I tinker with in my spare hours), and an ever-present guilt about not knowing enough React. When I'm not debugging, refactoring, or documenting things that Future Me will definitely appreciate, you’ll probably find me experimenting with my custom keyboard layouts or attempting to keep my hibiscus plant alive indoors.
